Kaitlin Binnington, LCSW
Co-Founder and Executive Director of Operations
Billing Coordinator
Kaitlin Binnington is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who brings together clinical insight, operational leadership, and a deep commitment to meaningful, person-centered care. She holds a background in community and program development from Baylor University and has always been drawn to work that cultivates change at both the individual and systems level. Kaitlin specializes in trauma, borderline personality disorder, and Biblical Christian counseling. She works across the lifespan, with a particular passion for supporting young adults as they navigate the complex transition into adulthood. She is especially drawn to working with individuals who have experienced complex trauma and trauma-related neurodivergence. She also supports those carrying the emotional exhaustion that comes from years of survival-based living, when life has felt more about getting through than truly living.
The Thrive Center was born from a vision God gave Kaitlin nearly a decade before it became reality. It was a vision of a place where individuals, communities, and systems could move toward healing through clinical excellence, intentional relationships, and access to high-quality care and resources. Over the years, that quiet vision grew through prayer, preparation and obedience. Thrive is not just a business, but a ministry led by love and rooted in the belief that people deserve to be met with dignity, clarity, and quality care. It is a place where healing is made possible through consistency, connection and the simple act of showing up.
In addition to her clinical work, Kaitlin serves as the Executive Director of Operations at The Thrive Center, where she oversees billing, insurance, systems, and plays an active role in supporting and developing the team. She approaches operations the same way she approaches therapy and supervision, through relationship. Kaitlin believes that a supportive environment not only ensures that clinicians feel equipped, but also safe enough to ask for help along the way. Her goal is to build systems that are clear and approachable so people can spend less time overwhelmed and more time doing the work they were meant to do.
Kaitlin is passionate about making things clear and accessible for clients, clinicians, and leaders alike. She provides supervision and mentorship to developing clinicians, supporting their growth not just in clinical skill, but in confidence and identity. She also offers business coaching and training for early-stage group practice owners and faith-based leaders who want to create practices that reflect their values and can grow in a healthy, lasting way. Whether she is untangling an operational or billing challenge, helping someone grow into leadership, or offering clinical guidance and insight, Kaitlin brings a practical, relational lens to the work. She leads by trusting her team to do meaningful work while staying close enough to offer support or step in when needed. Her leadership is quiet but steady, grounded in attentiveness, clarity, and care.
She hadn’t originally planned to become a therapist, but through unexpected turns she was drawn into clinical work through faith, curiosity, and trust in God’s leading. At the time she didn’t see it, but those experiences were equipping her to carry out the vision of Thrive. With a background in community development, she learned that real change happens through relationship, a truth that continues to guide her in both therapy and leadership. Looking back, she can see how each step was part of the preparation for what Thrive is today and what it will continue to grow into.
Beyond her professional work, Kaitlin finds joy in simplicity. She loves camping, hiking, and slow weekends with her husband and their two dogs. She’s also a big fan of what she affectionately calls her “grandma hobbies,” like crocheting, canning, and finding delight in the slower, quieter parts of life. At the same time, she’s deeply drawn to playfulness and spontaneity. Kaitlin enjoys things like going for drives with no destination, mini golf on a weeknight, or chasing adventure just for the fun of it.
Kaitlin’s commitment to living with intention in a world that often feels overwhelming is reflected in both her personal and professional life. Her mission to build a life rooted in grace, purpose, and rest is shared with everyone connected to Thrive. Whether you are seeking care as a client, exploring opportunities as a clinician, or looking for mentorship as a developing professional, the doors of The Thrive Center are open to you. We look forward to welcoming you soon!
