Dave Morin, LMFT-A
His favorite part of being a therapist is the human connection—those moments when someone feels truly seen, begins to heal, and starts to move through life with a renewed sense of hope. He sees therapy as a collaborative journey and holds deep respect for the strength and vulnerability his clients bring to the work.
Outside the therapy room, Dave finds joy in meditation, running, hiking, camping, dancing, reading, and playing video games. He also dreams of traveling the world as much as possible—seeking new experiences, deeper understanding, and continued personal growth. Whether he’s in nature or in session, Dave brings the same intention: to be present, to connect meaningfully, and to walk alongside others with care.

PSYCHOTHEARPIST
Central Connecticut State University
Dave is a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate who brings presence, compassion, and curiosity into every session. He earned his Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Central Connecticut State University in 2024, with specialized training in EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS). His clinical foundation is rooted in trauma-informed care and body-based healing modalities, with a focus on depression, anxiety, and personality disorders.
Dave’s path into the field was shaped by a desire to reduce suffering in the world and to help people better understand themselves within a broader context. He draws on over a decade of experience, including five years in residential counseling, four and a half years providing in-home therapy through IICAPS, two years of crisis intervention work, and more than a year in outpatient therapy settings.
Dave’s approach integrates mindfulness, somatic awareness, and deep attunement to each client’s inner experience. He is especially passionate about working with clients who are navigating trauma, emotional overwhelm, or persistent patterns that no longer serve them. Whether using EMDR to process painful memories or drawing on IFS to help clients connect with their internal system, Dave creates a therapeutic space that is grounded, safe, and transformative.
