Rae Reardon, LCSW

CLINICAL MANAGER & PSYCHOTHEARPIST

UCONN School of Social Work - Class of 2015

Rae is a compassionate and dedicated therapist who considers it an honor to walk alongside her clients on their journeys toward healing and personal growth. A graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Social Work, Rae earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) in 2015 and brings a wealth of experience and heart to her practice.

Rae specializes in working with clients facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, and trauma. She also has a strong passion for supporting couples and individuals navigating the integration of emotional and psychological health with their faith. Rae offers a warm, inclusive space where clients can explore their experiences openly and safely, especially those who identify as faith-based or who are living with ADHD or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

With a professional background that spans case management, individual and couples therapy, state agencies (DCF, DMHAS), welfare-to-work programs, municipal services, non-profit organizations, and private practice, Rae brings a well-rounded and deeply empathetic perspective to her work.

Rae became a therapist in response to a calling she has felt throughout her life—a call to support and uplift others as they navigate life’s complexities. For her, the most meaningful moments come when trust is built, when a client begins to see light through the darkness, and when they realize they are not alone, judged, or forgotten. She is committed to providing a non-judgmental, encouraging space where her clients can grow, heal, and move forward.

Outside of her professional life, Rae finds joy and inspiration in spending time with her three grown daughters, her granddaughter, her three sons-in-law, and her husband. She loves hiking in the woods and is also a passionate singer and active member of her church’s praise and worship team. A lifelong learner in both her personal and spiritual life, Rae aspires to continually grow in humility, love, and wisdom.
